Established photographer Sandro Miller, together with long time friend and Hollywood legend John Malkovich, created a witty project called “Malkovich, Malkovich, Malkovich: Homage to photographic masters.” As the title suggests, the creative duo’s photo series reimagines the world‘s most iconic portraits with Malkovich as the main subject instead.
Having worked in commercial photography for more than 30 years, Miller has the freedom and inspiration to undertake personal artistic projects like this one. In addition to paying tribute to the photographers that influenced and inspired him, Miller’s series also celebrates the chameleon-like persona and genius acting of John Malkovich himself. The project also beautifully emphasizes the precious and rich relationship between the photographer and his (or her) muse.
