Como sabéis, una de las actividades de técnica fotográfica de 2º que imparto en la EASD de l'Hospitalet (este año retomada desde foto artística por Isabel Codina y Amat Jacobo), consiste en la recreación de una obra pictórica reconocida. Aunque el planteamiento desde los distintos módulos es diferente (en foto artística se busca una reinterpretación y en técnica una reproducción lo más exacta posible del encuadre, los valores tonales, el contraste y la dirección y calidad de la luz) os ofrezco, además de los ejemplos de años anteriores y de otros autores, estos dos curiosos trabajos de Tadao Cern basados, además de en una estudiada iluminación de estudio, en una serie de ajustes digitales para dotar de textura realista a aquellas partes del cuadro que permanecen en el trabajo final.

Long long time ago I met a stranger in a gallery reading art books.
I had to introduce myself as there was something so special about her that I could not take my eyes off her
Her name was Lisa. She admitted that her life long dream was to have a painting of her.
Well, I had my camera with me so the least I could do to make her dream come true - was to take a picture of her.
I sent it to her and she told me that she met this painter by the name of Leonardo and that she came up with some sort of a plan...
I never heard from her since then and I still wonder if her dream came true.

Revealing The Truth - Vincent Van Gogh

Long long time ago a stranger asked me to make his portrait... So I did.
I sent him the image and I never heard back from him again since that moment.
-
Not long ago I saw one painting and I felt that it was very familiar to me.
And then I got it - It was a copy of my photo!
I did a little research on that and it seem that the guy who draw(copied) it is quite well known around...
His name is Vincent Van Gogh and I was lucky enough to make his portrait.
Pity that he never mentioned me and I can't find his contact now...
